Card for Olivia

Hello Everyone.  I wanted to share a card that I made for a little girl named Olivia.

She was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor and had brain surgery on 8/22.  So far everything looks great and Olivia made it through the surgery well.  There is a card drive going on right now to try and cheer up this sweet little girl who is going through a really tough time.

Birthday Bulldog

Good morning my crafty friends.

I wanted to share this card I made last night.  My husband's birthday is coming up at the end of the month, so I decided to get it going.

The happy birthday digi and the bulldog digi are from Meljen's Designs.  I just merged both images together using Microsoft Word.  Meljen's has a great tutorial on how to do this!!  

I also used the same Happy Birthday image to make my custom made background paper.  I absolutely love it!!! There is also a tutorial on how to make that over at Meljen's.

I used MS glitter on the sentiment, swirls and stars.  

The rest I colored using Copics.

This sentiment is computer generated and cut using a ticket die.

Hope you guys like it and hopefully I have inspired you to try some new techniques using your digis and computers.  Very easy tutorials, so check them out!!

I used heat embossing for the sentiment.  As you can see I still need more practice.  I always seem to get tiny lit' spots everywhere.  I used the dryer sheet, but it doesn't work for me.  So if anyone has some advice, I would so love to hear it!!!
