Fantabulous Cricut #48-Emboss It!

Good Morning Friends.  I hope you all had a great weekend!!

Thank you for joining us this week for another fun challenge at Fantabulous Cricut.  This week the challenge is to use any kind of embossing.  Yay, I love embossing!!!

My lit' monster and "Monster" were cut with Mini Monsters Cart.
The patterned paper is from ProvoCraft Celebrations Stack.
The background embossing is from Sizzix, Baby Geo Textured Plate.

The embossing on him was done with Sizzix, Dots embossing folder.

The "Hugs" was cut with Smiley Cards Cart.
I used Acrylic Paint for the lit' dots for more dimension and pop.

Now this cute little card is a spinner card.  The little monster spins as he goes from one end of the card to the other.  I was really excited about it because it was the very first one I had ever tried to make.  If you want to see a tutorial on this, Techniques by Trish has a great one.  Just click HERE.

The other reason why I decided to make this fun monster spinner card is because I'm sending it to a sick little boy named Aidan.  8(

Aidan is a sweet lit' 2 year old who was recently diagnosed with T Cell Leukemia. On Wednesday, he had a port installed in his chest, spinal tap, bone marrow, and chemo in his spine. He did GREAT! This lil guy is such a trooper. His parents have accepted that their BABY has Leukemia.. NOT the easiest thing to accept, but their faith in God and their support system have kept them going. T-Cell Leukemia has a high cure rate although chemo will be continued for quite a while. Lil Aidan LOVES mail, like any 2 year old does. So.... if anyone else is interested in sending him a card and bringing some love and smiles to this lit' guy you can send them to:

I hope you all join us for this fun challenge and hop over to check out the amazing projects by our wonderful Design Team!!
Thank you everyone for coming by and lets keep lit Aidan in our prayers for a full recovery!!

Crafting with Cristina's Companion Challenge #17 Interactive Card

Good Morning Everyone.

Thank you for joining us this morning for another fun challenge at Crafting with Cristina.  For this week's Companion Challenge we are asked to make an Interactive Card.  Huh? as some of you are probably asking.  Well, I'm sure we have all seen them around.  Examples of Interactive cards are Spinner Cards, Accordion Cards, Shaker Cards...you get the picture. Basically any card that moves!!!

I was really looking forward to this challenge because I have never made one.  I have to admit, I was a little nervous about it, but this was probably the best way to get me to make one. lol

I decided to make a suspension card.  If you would like to see a tutorial for this just click HERE.

The little tag with sentiment is computer generated.
So the little tag in the middle has two sides to it.
The front side says, "Kiss Me"

and the back side says, "I'm Irish"

So when you open the card, it spins around.
Super cute right?

Cut the 3 leaf clover with Paper Doll Dress Up cart
using my Imagine.
The little face is by PKS Happy Lashes.

This cute lit guy I cut out using my Imagine
and the PDDU cart as well.
Whats a leprechaun without some bling right??
I hope you guys are inspired to give one of these Interactive cards a try.  Go on over to Crafting with Cristina for some more great cards and inspiration by our amazing Cristina and our Design Team!!
I hope you join us for this fun challenge.  Can't wait to see what you guys create.  Plus don't forget about the great prizes!! Get all the details at CWC!!

For this weeks challenge, we are to use the Raggedy Ann and/or Raggedy Andy cut found in the Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge. Now I must admit, I have had this cart Foreverrrrrrrrrrr and have never used it until now.  So I was really excited about this challenge!!
Here is my project...
I used my Imagine for this cut. I don't know about you, but
I find the imagine is so much faster and easier for cuts that have so many parts to it.
The sentiment is computer generated.
I used PKS Everyday Character Faces on her.

I have a ton of birthdays coming up so I'm sure I will be using this cute lit tag very soon.

For my second project I made this cute lit desk calendar...
Again, I used the Imagine for this lit guy and for the 3 leaf clovers.
The calendar and dates are also computer generated.
I used PKS Happy Lashes for this one.

Good Morning Everyone.

Let me start off by wishing the sweet and talented Ashley a very happy birthday!! She is just turning 11 years old and already has a very successful blog up.  You can visit her here and show her some birthday love!! Tons of birthday wishes and hugs out to you Miss ASHLEY!!!!

Todays hop, You Say Its Your Birthday is inspired by the Beatles and their songs.

You should have arrived from the sweet and talented Lisa.  If you've just arrived and would like to start from the beginning then click HERE.

I must say this was a bit of a challenge for me.  Obviously I know who they are, but I had never really stopped and listened to their music before.  I have to say this was a very nice learning experience.  I think I am definitely a fan now!!

My card for Ashley was inspired by the song "And I Love Her".
I give her all my love
     That's all I do
And if you saw my love
     You'd love her too
     I love her
     She gives me ev'rything
     and tenderly
     The kiss my lover brings
     She brings to me
     And I love her

So here is my card...
The cute digi is from Di's Digi Designs. The
sentiment is computer generated.

Perfect. Dont you think?? Hope you guys like it.  Make sure to stop by all of the talented ladies on the hop for some fun and great inspiration. Plus there will be prizes along the way as well.

Welcome to Fantabulous Cricut's "Share the Love" Crawl!!  For those of you that are new to FCCB, a Crawl is their version of a blog hop.

With Valentine's Day only a week away, everyone at FCCB has decided to Share the Love!  All of our super talented Design Team members have made some amazing and fun Valentine-themed projects that include the word "LOVE" somewhere on it.

If you just crawled over from the sweet and talented Cathy, then you're in the right place.  If you've just happened across my blog and would like to play along with our FCCB Crawl, then click HERE to start at the beginning.

Ok, so for my project I made this super cute treat box.  If you would like to see a video tutorial on how to make it, you can visit the amazing Cricut Chick HERE.

I used Rock Princess to cut out the large heart.
I cut out the "Love" with my Robotz cart.
The decorative heart pins and the acetate heart are from
K&Company.

I cut out this sentiment with Designer's Calendar.
The flowers are a combo of Prima and Recollections.
I used Easy Stitches by Paper Pizzaz to make the stitching
around the square.

The letters "e" and "a" are chipboard letters I've had for some time now.
The "&" was cut with Sugar & Spice.
Cut the heart with Create A Critter.
The heart shaped brads are from Recollections.
Also used these cute lit' Alpha Beads from Darice.

This cute lit' bear I was super excited about. It was my first time using Paper Piecings!
I got him at My Scrap Chick.  Isn't he so cute??
I used HelloKittyGreetings to cut out the heart shaped balloons.
The sentiments are all free hand.

The treat box is made with a few 12x12 pieces of cardstock.
It is pretty durable and a good size.
I added about 5 different types of ribbon all different widths.

This will definitely make a super cute gift for someone.  I will probably
fill it up with some kind of candy. mmmmmm yummy.

Now it's your turn! Lets see what fantabulous Valentine-themed projects you come up with!! Don't forget to include the word "LOVE" somewhere on your project.

For your next stop, you will be crawling over to the fantastic Erin.  Head on over for some more amazing inspiration! When you're done, make sure to link up your project to FCCB's Share the Love Crawl post to be entered for the Grand Prize!!
