My friends' daughter who is 12, is at a 2 week cooking/baking program during the Winter Break.  She is having a blast and so I decided to make her this cookie mix so she can make once she's home.  I thought this tag would go perfect with it and I get to enter it in the Flaunt It Fridays' Create A Critter Turtle Challenge!
The turtle, the sentiment and the grass were all cut with
Create A Critter.
The tag was cut with Tags,Bags & More.

Of course I used my cute PKS stamp for the face.

The mix is to make Cowboy Cookies which I found on a website.
If anyone wants the recipe let me know.

I can't wait to give this to her!

Cristina's HomeMade Christmas Blog Hop

Hi Everyone!  Welcome to Cristina's "HomeMade Christmas" Blog Hop!!

Thank you for joining us today!  If you hopped over from Cristina, you're in the right place.  I hope you're ready to have some fun.  Our super talented ladies have some amazing projects to share with you.  Make sure you stop by everyone for some inspiration and super crafty ideas that could be used to decorate your homes, gifts, or just for fun!!

For my project, I decided to make a Picture Frame.  I have been wanting to put this picture up of my son for a while, but just hadn't found the right frame for it.  I happened to be at Micheals the other day and came across this unfinished, wooden frame.  It was just sitting there, waiting for someone to pick it up and do something with it.  So I thought, "why not?"  Here is the finished product....

The patterned paper is from DCWV The Winter Wonder Stack.
I cut out the lit' snowman with Stretch Your Imagination.
The snowflakes are cut with Joys of the Season.

"Winter" is cut with Gypsy Wanderings.
"Fun" is cut with Disney's Pooh Font.
I made the dots with Acrylic Paint to give them more dimension.

I hope you guys liked it.  I also made this cute Holiday Block for our newest member of the family.  This is my nephew Martin.  I'm giving this to him for Christmas.

The wooden block I bought at Micheal's.
Cardstock is from DCWV The Christmas Stack and
DCWV The Christmas Cardstock Stack.

I used Disney's Pooh Font for the lettering.
The candy canes are just stickers that I've had.

The stocking was cut with Christmas Cheer and
the snowflakes were cut with Joys of the Season.

My reindeer was cut with Create A Critter.
Added some red stickles to the nose and scarf.

I covered the picture with Acetate to protect it.
The buttons are used to cover the glue spots.

I cut the tag with Tags,Bags & More.
The name was cut with Disney's Pooh Font.
The ribbon is from Craft Essentials.

Fantabulous Cricut "Deck The Halls" Crawl!

Welcome to Fantabulous Cricut "Deck The Halls" Crawl!! It is FCCB's third Fantabulous Crawl (their version of a blog hop) and my very First Blog Hop.  I can't tell you how excited and thrilled I am to be a part of this!!

So, with the Christmas Holiday quickly approaching, we are having a "Deck The Halls" Crawl.
All of our very talented and creative Design Team members will be featuring an original Christmas/Holiday-themed project that could be used to decorate and spruce up their homes for the Holidays!

If you just crawled over from the amazing Cathy, you're in the right place.  If you've just happened across my blog and would like to play along with our FCCB Crawl, then click Here!

Make sure to check out each DT member's blog for some amazing inspiration and fun ideas.  There will also be some yummy Candy along the way and a Grand Prize up for grabs at FCCB for one participant that submits a "Deck The Halls" project at FCCB!!

Ok, so for my project....

I used my sewing machine to make the border around the cardstock.
I then adhered it to the canvas with adhesive spray.

I decided to make this Canvas layout.  I just LOVE, LOVE making these.  It is such a great way to display your pictures and showcase you work at the same time.

I used Disney Pooh Font to cut out my letters.
I cut out the tags with Tags,Bag, Boxes & More
I used my white gel pen for the stitching around the tags.
You can add any kind of embellishments, ribbons, gems, or anything
you can think of to make your own masterpiece!

I used acrylic paint to color around the canvas.
The nice thing about these is that you can hang them,
put them on a shelf or on a stand.

I also made some Christmas ornaments.  It was my first time using vinyl and I have to say it was easier than I thought it was going to be 8)

I used Paper Lace, Joys of the Season, Alphalicious, and Car Decals for the names and the cuts.  I also added Stickles.  Scrappin with my Bug has a great tutorial on how to make these super cute ornaments in case you want to try them.

Now it's your turn! Let's see your Christmas/Holiday-themed Decor projects!!  Don't forget to include your Cricut Cut somewhere on your project.

So for your next stop, you will be crawling over to the very talented  Erin.  Head on over for some more amazing inspiration!  When you're done, make sure to link up your projects to FCCB's Fantabulous Cricut Crawl post to be entered for the Grand Prize!!!
