Witching You a Happy Birthday!

Wow! What a Halloween weekend!! I hope you guys had a blast!  My family had the best time.  Halloween is such a fun Holiday!!

So my husband and I went to a Halloween/Birthday party on Saturday!  It's funny how the older you get the earlier you wanna come home!! lol.  We had a really fun time with great friends!

I made this card for the birthday boy.  Still need to work on my copics but overall I was pleased with it.  Here it is....

The super cute digi I won last week at Sassy Studio Designs! I love her. She is just too cute! The cardstock is from K&Company (Halloween) and Recollections (RaveheadManor).  The droopy punch is Martha Stewart.

The tag I made using my Cricut, Gypsy Font cart and mini gel pens. I cut out the tag with Tags,Bags & more cart.

I used the Gypsy Font cart for "naughty" and Create a Critter cart for "Birthday."

I'm going to enter my card in a few challenges:

Hope you guys like it.  I will be posting again later with some pictures from this great weekend! Thanks for coming by you guys!!

Happy Halloween

Happy Friday Everyone!!

I hope everyone has a great weekend and an awesome Halloween!! My kids are certainly looking forward to it!!

Ok, so I finished my Halloween card this morning.  For some reason I was having a really hard time with it.  Halloween....should be easy right?? Thousands of things to pick from....and for some reason I just could not get my mojo going.  I finished it.  Not too happy with it.  I'm usually excited about the things I make, but this one for some reason is just not calling out to me 8(

Anyways, here it is...
I used my Happy Hauntings cart for the witch.  Then decided to add some stickles to her.  Maybe that was my mistake.??
I had the broom left over from another project and decided to add that one and cut out the original cut.
My sentiment is from Pink By Design-A Haunting We Will Go and that I heat embossed.
I cut out the moon myself and the ribbon is from Celebrate it-Halloween.
hmmm. yeah... still not feeling it.

Hope you guys have a safe and happy Halloween!!! Talk to you soon 8)

Thank You

Hey Everyone,
I hope your week is going just fine.  I know a lot of people out there are getting sick and hopefully it is NOT you 8)

This morning, I finished this card.  I love how the embossing came out.  It just  pops off the paper giving it some dimension.  I hope you agree. So here it is...

This cute lit' bear is from Meljen's Designs.

The "Thank You" embossing just pops.  I used my Sizzix embossing folder.
The paper is from Core'dinations and it is made for embossing, sanding, etc. It has the core color that comes out.

I used Copics for the digi and used my Gypsy Wandering cart for the brown scallop circle in the background.
I just recently discovered all the cute card cutouts that the cart has and I'm lovin' it!! My flowers are Prima flowers and the antique copper brads are from Making Memories.

Pinky the ScareCrow

Ok, so after working on this card for a few hours, I just could not come up with a "cool" name....lol.

I hope everyone is having a great weekend so far.  I am LOVING the cool weather in So. Cal! How about you guys??

So, for this image I used Copics.  I'm still trying to learn and practice as you can see. This one was a bit challenging because of all the small details it had.  It definitely took me a while to finish her, but I think she came out ok.  I was also a little limited as to my colors only because I REALLY wanted to use her in the Incy Wincy challenge which called for Pink and Brown.

I enjoyed putting this card together.  I used all sorts of stuff for this one.....embossing with my Sizzix, Cricut expression, digi stamp, distressing, and of course just embellishments.  It was fun to change it up and just see what happens.

So this is what happened....

This is such a cute Digi Stamp from Karen's Doodles. I just love her.  The card stock I've had for a while, so not sure what brand it is.  I used my Sizzix Twizzle to emboss the brown paper under the image. My bling is from Craft Designer.

I used Gypsy Wanderings for the sentiments.  I had totally forgotten that this cart came with my gypsy and had never used it before.  Very happy when I found these.  The pumpkins I cut out using Create A Critter. That cart has the cutest cutouts.

I used my Designer's Calender cart to cut out the leaves.  The ribbon is from Joanns.

4 the Love of the Game

Good Morning Everyone!

So, I'm not sure if I have mentioned that my family and I are die hard baseball fans!! We just love the game.  My husband played as a child, in high school and college.  I played softball as a child and high school.  So now that our kids are at that age and they are starting to play the game.....well, what can I say?  It just brings tingly's all over!!! lol

So this l.o. I made for three different challenges.  The first is at Peachy Keen Stamps.  Our challenge was to create something that INSPIRES us and we have to use our PK stamps.

The second challenge is at Paper Cutz.  In this challenge we could use only the colors red, white and black.

Finally, the third one is at Crafty Creations Challenge #89-Show a Number.  We can make anything we want as long as it has a number showing somewhere.  Easy enough 8)

So what could be more inspiring than my little one (Ryen) playing baseball??? Not much!!!

It was fun working on this lo. Hadn't done one in a while.  Hopefully I can get back to working on my scrapbooks again.

To make the baseballs, I just cut round circles with a circle cutter and used my PK stamps and markers . I'm hoping to get either the Sport Mania or Baseball Cart soon!!

Even at 6, he is just so determined, focused and ready to play hard!!
