Fantabulous Cricut #42 Winter Warmies

Hey friends, 

So happy that you've joined me today. For this weeks challenge at Fantabulous Cricut, you are  

to use some type of winter clothing or accessory on your project.

For my project, I made a layout.  Layouts are my first love! This is what I started out making and then went onto cards and crafts.  My other love are digital layouts. Most recently, I have combined the two to make a hybrid layout.  I feel like I get the best of both worlds by using the digital technique and then adding the traditional technique of scrapping!!

First, I start off by printing my pictures on my 12x12 photo paper with the background colors/pattern

that I want to use.  The program that I like to use, which is super easy is ArcSoft Print Creations.  As you can see it is very plain with no titles or embellishments.

Then comes the fun part.  I get to embellish it and dress it up just like any traditional

scrapbook layout.  It really is super easy to do.  I really like that I can do more with my pictures this way by cropping, resizing and using different types of borders.

I cut the him using Simply Charmed.  

Also used PKS stamp (Happy Lashes), blue stickles and white gel pen.

I cut the mittens with Simply Charmed as well.

The letters were cut with Disney Pooh Font.
